If you’re holding the below VCP(s) as a latest version, this year 2023 is eligible to upgrade but these are planning to be NOT eligible to upgrade on year 2024 next year. Which means, this year 2023 may be your FINAL YEAR or Last Chance for you to upgrade your VCP to the latest version!
– VCP-DCV 2020
– VCP-NV 2020
– VCP-CMA 2020
– VCP-DTM 2020
– VCP-DW 2020
– VCP-SEC 2020
– Spring 2020
The following polices had been active for recent years and is still being active on this year 2023.
– VCP upgrade is capable up to 3 versions back
– The new VCP will be released on January 1st of that year
If you’re planning to upgrade to the latest VCP 2023 from the above VCP, please do so within this year, which is by December 31st, 2023.
VCP 2022 or older is no longer attainable and VCP 2023 is the only certification version you can acquire this year. If you do not upgrade this year, you’ll have to go through all the requirements like a new VCP candidate, such as attending the required courses, etc.
Keep in mind that the above VCPs will NOT be expired, which means that you’ll be kept recorded as holding the VCP. But you’ll lose efficient options to upgrade your VCP to the latest version.
By the way, if you’re holding VCP 2021 or newer, you’re still eligible to upgrade next year since it is within 3 versions back from the latest VCP 2024 version next year. If your latest VCP version holding is 2019 or older, unfortunately, you’ll have to go through the same steps as new candidate to acquire VCP 2023.
