Hi folks,
Here is tech tip #6 in the vCenter Operations ManagementTech Tips series!
In the first 3 tips, we gave you the tools to make better use of your vCenter Operations Manager. By following the steps in the first three videos (check out Tips #1, #2, and #3) you will be able to build business applications, better label your resources through tag groups and apply your key performance indicators to better meet your SLAs.
In tech tip #4, we used the data extracted from vCenter Server to create a unique dashboard for the vCenter Administrator. And tech tip #5 focused on creating a custom dashboard for an Application Owner.
In today’s video, with Tech Tip #6, we will use a combination of the applications and the business tag groups and provide a nice overview dashboard that could go up on a big screen or be used by a CxO. In this dashboard the user will be provided a high level view of the business, applications and regional statuses.
Hope you found the above Tech Tip useful! And if this whetted your appetite for something more heavy duty, we do have more vCenter Operations Manager documentation available for you.
