This blog post shows the list of VCAP / VCIX Certify and Upgrade Paths for Year 2020 version.
Below is overall picture of VCAP certification.
VCAP / VCIX 2020 version is the only version you can newly acquire for this year. Other VCAP / VCIX versions are retired and no longer acquirable but anybody, not all but, already holding these certifications can use those for Upgrading to VCAP / VCIX 2020 version.
Here are the expected paths to acquire VCAP and VCIX:
- VCAP 2020 Certification for the first time
- VCAP 2020 UpgradeVCAP Certification for the first time
- VCAP 2020 Upgrade by Course Attendance
- Exception: VCAP-NV 2020 Having Cisco CCIE
- VCIX 2020 – Milestone for having both Design & Deploy
