VMware Cloud on AWS GovCloud (US) achieves FedRAMP High JAB authorization and DISA IL5 provisional authorization

Update (September 26, 2022): We are proud to announce that the provisional authorization for DISA IL5 has become a full authorization.

We are thrilled to announce two major certifications for VMware Cloud on AWS GovCloud (US) that will enable further adoption of the service by US Public Sector agencies and US Department of Defense mission owners.  VMware Cloud on AWS continues to be the fastest and easiest way for vSphere customers to migrate and modernize their infrastructure without the need to refactor and rearchitect their applications.

Following our FedRAMP High Agency authorization that was achieved in September of 2021, we have now achieved the even more comprehensive FedRAMP High JAB authorization as of April 2022.  FedRAMP JAB authorization is highly sought after and is a core enabler for multi-tenant cloud service offerings such as VMware Cloud on AWS GovCloud.  For more details on the services covered by this authorization please visit the VMware Government Services listing on the FedRAMP Marketplace.

VMware customers that are part of the US Department of Defense rely on authorizations from DISA as a key enabler for cloud migration.  We are proud to announce the VMware Cloud on AWS GovCloud (US) has achieved DISA Impact Level 5 (IL5) provisional authorization as of April 2022.  For more details on our authorization please reach out to your VMware Cloud sales representative.

VMware Cloud on AWS GovCloud (US) continues to deliver and expand upon key IT use cases for US Public Sector customers including data center extension, cloud migration, virtual desktops, disaster recovery, and application modernization.  Now in its third year of operation VMware Cloud on AWS GovCloud (US) is serving a wide range of mission owners with availability in both US-East and US-West.
