Forbes Guthrie is a Director of Product Management within the Cloud Infrastructure Business Group (CIBG). Forbes leads the team of Product Managers who are responsible for vSphere, with particular focus on the ESXi hypervisor, and vSphere with Tanzu. Forbes has been a product manager at VMware for 7 years, most recently across vSphere, and before that VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and VMware Validated Designs (VVDs). Prior to working as a product manager over the last decade, Forbes was a Technical Architect designing solutions across enterprise data centers. During this time, he was an enthusiastic customer of VMware, supporter of VMware’s user community, blogger, writer, and speaker at industry events.
