I’m excited to announce that the vSphere team is participating in Tech Field Day Extra at VMworld US 2019 in San Francisco! This special 1-day event during VMworld US will be hosted by our friends at Tech Field Day and Gestalt IT. This event will mark the 10-year anniversary of VMware participating in the very first Tech Field Day (TFD1) in November of 2009 so we are very much looking forward to not only sharing some great information about what we’re working on and to also celebrate our partnership with the Tech Field Day organization over the last decade.
We will be presenting two 1-hour sessions on Wednesday, August 28th starting at 2p PDT. Whether you’re attending VMworld or just catching what you can from your office or while on the road, you’ll be able to both livestream the event or catch it afterwards on-demand. We’ll add the live stream below on the 28th and afterwards we’ll add in the on-demand videos so you can watch and listen whenever it is convenient.
Session 1
Starting at 2p PDT, we’ll jump into a new project we are working on that our CTO, Kit Colbert, calls groundbreaking!
You’ll hear from two of the leading experts on this topic – Jared Rosoff, Sr. Director Product Management, and Mike West, Sr. Technical Marketing Architect.
Session 2
In the 2nd hour starting at 3p PDT, we are excited to discuss our recent acquisition of Bitfusion. We will be talking about how this close partnership, and now acquisition, is going to help our customers take advantage of new workloads such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in their vSphere infrastructure. Speakers for this session will be Jim Brogan, Sr. Solutions Architect, and Ziv Kalmanovich, Product Line Manager.
