Christos Karamanolis

Christos is a VMware Fellow. He is responsible for the company’s technical strategy for storage and data infrastructure. He was one of the original vSAN architects and served as the CTO of the Storage and Availability Business Unit. Christos has over 30 years of research and development experience in distributed systems, fault tolerance, storage, and storage management. He has co-authored more than 20 research papers and over 50 granted patents. He holds a PhD in Distributed Computing from Imperial College.
