One of the more exciting announcements at AWS re:Invent was VMware’s launch of Site Recovery for VMware Cloud on AWS. a robust disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) offering that protects workloads between on-premises data centers and VMware Cloud on AWS, as well as between different instances of VMware Cloud on AWS. The new service lets you take advantage of a consistent, vSphere-based infrastructure and operating environment that extends from on-premises to VMware Cloud on AWS.
