Hi folks,
Here is tech tip #5 in our vCenter Operations ManagementTech Tips series!
In the first 3 tips, we gave you the tools to make better use of your vCenter Operations Manager. By following the steps in the first three videos (check out Tips #1, #2, and #3) you will be able to build business applications, better label your resources through tag groups and apply your key performance indicators to better meet your SLAs.
Last week, in tech tip #4, we used the data extracted from vCenter Server to create a unique dashboard for the vCenter Administrator.
Today, we will continue with the theme of creating custom dashboards. In today’s video, with Tech Tip #5, we will leverage the applications we built previously to create a dashboard for a specific application owner. On this dashboard they will be able to monitor their application and its components and be alerted to any problems that may arise.
Hope you found the above Tech Tip useful! And if this whetted your appetite for something more heavy duty, we do have more vCenter Operations Manager documentationavailable for you.
