Azure VMware Solution runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. VMware vRealize Cloud Management integration with Azure VMware Solution will help customers on their future datacenter expansion, business continuity/disaster recovery, as well as modern application development projects.
The integrations tested with Azure VMware Solution include vRealize Automation, vRealize Automation Cloud, vRealize Operations, vRealize Operations Cloud, vRealize Network Insight, and vRealize Network Insight Cloud.

These workflows embrace DevOps practices for infrastructure use cases to provide cost savings from infrastructure resource utilization and faster deployment of environments that will benefit all end users. These benefits are measurable in saved costs across all VMs and containers in deployment & overall lifecycle management.
vRealize Operations and vRealize Operations Cloud
Azure VMware Solution users of vRealize Operations and vRealize Operations Cloud will find that being powered by artificial intelligence will drive their IT operations management of applications and infrastructure more efficiently. Azure VMware Solution customers can use vRealize Operations for continuous performance optimization as well as to verify performance with automatic workload placement and balancing based on business and operational intents. This includes optimizing resources so that there is a reduction in overall software licensing costs throughout both the Azure VMware Solution infrastructure as well as their other multi-cloud assets. vRealize Operations provides Azure VMware Solution environments with efficient capacity and cost management to run infrastructure for optimal consolidation, proactive planning, and procurement.
vRealize Network Insight and vRealize Network Insight Cloud
Azure VMware Solution customers can use vRealize Network Insight and vRealize Network Insight Cloud as a first step to understanding what is in their network environment. This environment now includes Azure VMware Solution and connections to VMware solutions like NSX, VMware SD-WAN, vSphere, as well as many 3rd party solutions like firewalls, load balancers, switches, and routers. Using the machine learning Flow-based Application Discovery capabilities in vRealize Network Insight, customers can discover what workloads are part of an application and what those application boundaries are, as well as make security policy recommendations. This is a critical step in planning cloud migrations from a data center to Azure VMware Solution. vRealize Network Insight can also be used with VMware HCX to automate the applications that were discovered and help plan migration groups. The addition of Azure VMware Solution to the VMware vRealize Cloud Management capabilities will offer customers the latest in application-aware intelligent management that can predict, prevent, and troubleshoot across Azure VMware Solution. This includes connections to multi-cloud that are both virtual and physical infrastructure. The joint solution will help customers cloud manage as they extend existing VMware workloads from on-premises environments to Azure VMware Solution without the cost, effort or risk of re-architecting applications or retooling training or operations .
