Masae is a Senior Program Manager at VMware, where she leads the effort to keep third-party ecosystem contributions aligned with the company’s business strategies. Previously, she led numerous programs from consumer digital platforms to IT infrastructure and business transformations and in the cloud sector, large scale SaaS transformations as part of M&A programs at Cisco in the UK. She has also run embedded software development on Linux/Android/iOS at multiple blue chip companies. Masae began her career as a Windows software developer in Japan and the US at NEC/Microsoft and received her Bachelor of Engineering at Hokkaido University. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, skiing, and traveling with her English husband and 15-year-old son.
