Chad Sakac is one of the leaders within VMware driving the Tanzu Modern Application efforts across the industry. Chad has been working on Kubernetes, Spring and Cloud Native applications for the last 3 years. Additionally, he leads business transformation efforts in this team as VMware Tanzu brings together additional assets through acquisition and organic development. VMware Tanzu effort to lead modern applications and application development using Kubernetes, as well as helping drive the cultural changes that are part of digital transformation within the enterprise. Chad spends his time around the globe, with the team, and with our customers and partners. He is the executive sponsor for several of the largest customers in the world, including Citibank, T-Mobile, and several others. Prior to this role, Chad spent 14 years at Dell EMC where he was responsible for several technical customer focusing on customer and partner innovation – most recently as the President and GM of the Converged Platform and Solutions Division (CPSD), and prior to that leading the global Systems Engineering team. Chad authors one of the top 20 cloud, virtualization and infrastructure blogs, “Virtual Geek”, and holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
