In our view, this report recognizes VMware’s leadership in delivering a comprehensive infrastructure automation platform with our hybrid cloud management platform, VMware vRealize Suite, which consists of vRealize Automation, vRealize Operations, vRealize Log Insight, and vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager. We enable customers to accelerate the delivery of IT services through automation and pre-defined policies, providing a high level of agility and flexibility for IT administrators, cloud administrators, DevOps administrators and developers, while maintaining consistent governance and control. With our vRealize Suite offerings, we provide customers a choice in how they purchase, consume, and operate their IT and Cloud operations —either software as a service (SaaS) via a subscription model or on-premises via a perpetual license model.
At the core of VMware’s cloud automation offerings are VMware vRealize Automation Cloud (formerly VMware Cloud Automation Services), a modern SaaS hybrid cloud automation platform, and VMware vRealize Automation, our on-premises cloud automation platform offering the same set of capabilities as our SaaS offering.
