Announcing vRealize Network Insight 3.5
Today VMware announced launch of VMware vRealize Network Insight 3.5. VMware vRealize Network Insight delivers intelligent operations for software-defined networking and security. It helps customers build an optimized, highly-available and secure network infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. It accelerates micro-segmentation planning and deployment, enables visibility across virtual and physical networks and provides operational views to manage and scale VMware NSX deployments.
vRealize Network Insight 3.5 adds key capabilities that enhance network and security visibility in the Software Defined Data Center, and that enable customers to confidently deploy, manage and scale their VMware NSX deployments.
Manage and Scale NSX Deployments
With vRealize Network Insight 3.5, customers can integrate NSX IPFIX flows with vDS flows in their virtual infrastructure to get complete flow visibility, including flows that are dropped, protected and unprotected by the NSX Distributed Firewall.
A new NSX Edge Health Dashboard provides customers better visibility with a new Layer 3 topology view. NAT rules, default gateways, downstream routers and other comprehensive edge information is also shown for quick visibility and troubleshooting.
The new PCI compliance dashboard helps customers assess PCI compliance posture for their NSX-V environment.
360 SDDC Network and Security Visibility
vRealize Network Insight provides industry leading fully integrated visibility and troubleshooting capabilities across the virtual and physical infrastructure and vRealize Network Insight adds support for even more third party network and security devices such as Checkpoint firewall, Brocade MLX and HP OneView. The powerful VM to VM path visualization that enables fast root cause of connectivity issues between two VMs also now supports ECMP routing.
Also available as SaaS
In addition to the Software Defined Data Center on-prem download, VMware vRealize Network Insight is also available now as a SaaS service for customers who prefer the SaaS consumption model.
