Low-touch enrollment and configuration is critical when it comes to rugged devices deployed outside of the corporate office and away from IT. That’s why VMware Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), powered by AirWatch technology, now supports Zebra StageNow. StageNow is Zebra’s next generation staging solution that enables IT to automatically enroll Android-based devices in bulk.
StageNow is fully integrated into the Workspace ONE console, making it easy for administrators to onboard any Zebra Android-based device. Simply create a staging package (containing the configurations, settings, and apps your device needs), generate a StageNow barcode for that staging package, scan the barcode, and your device is enrolled!
StageNow replaces VMware’s existing Rapid Deployment barcode enrollment for Zebra devices running Workspace ONE powered by AirWatch Agent 8.2+ and Android 7.0 Nougat or higher with MX 7.1. Rapid Deployment is still available for Zebra devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or below.
