Create a Virtual SAN datastore on a cluster with three hosts and deploy as many running VMs (of any size) as possible.
Task Description
Create a Virtual SAN datastore using three hosts, with as much capacity as you can. Then, deploy as many running virtual machines (of any size) as you can onto the Virtual SAN datastore. The VMs must be powered on.
Task Validation (three steps)
Step 1:
Provide a screen capture that displays the following details from your Virtual SAN datastore within the vSphere Web Client.
- Total Storage Capacity
- Datastore Location
- Datastore Type
- Datastore # of Hosts
- Datastore Virtual Machines

Step 2:
Provide a screen capture that displays the following details about the virtual machines within your Virtual SAN datastore via the vSphere Web Client
- Name
- State
- Status
- Provisioned Space
- Used Space
- Host CPU
- Host Memory
- Guest Memory %
- VM Storage Polices Compliance

Step 3:
Provide a .csv or .xls file that contains the following information for ALL powered on virtual machines residing on your vsanDatastore.
- Name
- State
- Status
- Provisioned Space
- Used Space
- Host CPU
- Host Memory
- Guest Memory %
- VM Storage Polices Compliance
