Hot on the heels of the massively successful Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) Executive Forum at VMworld Las Vegas, the VMware Telco NFV team will be running another NFV Executive Forum as part of VMworld Europe in Barcelona next week.
The NFV Executive Forum facilitates networking and discussion amongst executives and experts from leading communication service providers (CSPs) and VMware’s successful NFV vendor ecosystem.
As in Las Vegas, the European event will have an interactive format and focus on helping customers understand how they can reduce costs and increase agility by virtualizing their service delivery platform.
In addition, well-known industry analyst and researcher Caroline Chappell of Analysys Mason will be discussing the results of recent research into the economics of virtualization in CSP networks that throws light onto cost savings and new revenue opportunities.
Caroline is the lead analyst for Analysys Mason’s Software-Controlled Networking research program. Her research focuses on service provider adoption of cloud, and the application of cloud technologies to fixed and mobile networks. She is a leading exponent of SDN and NFV and the potential that these technologies have to enhance business agility and enable new revenue opportunities for service providers. We are delighted that Caroline is able to join us!
The NFV Executive Forum Europe takes place on Monday 17th October in Barcelona, ahead of the VMworld conference that starts on the Tuesday.
If you are an executive at a communications service provider and would like to receive an invitation or more details of this event, please email Trey Graham at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Invitations are limited and at VMware’s discretion and only available for qualifying Communication Service Provider organizations and individuals.
