On the first day of the Global Support Tech summit you will hear from Pankaj Purwar, Senior Director of Digital Customer Experience and Success, and Swapnil Hendre, Senior Director of Network and Multi-Cloud Services in our kick-off our general session..

An eight-year VMware veteran, Pankaj leads VMware’s global IT enterprise application team. He drives business engagement and develops effective customer experience strategies for VMware’s valued customers. 

Swapnil joined VMware in 2010 as a Solutions Architect and later served as Director of Solutions Engineering and Design. Last fall, he transitioned into his current role as Network and Multi-Cloud Services leader, heading VMware’s network modernization and multi-cloud journey. 

In their keynote, Pankaj and Swapnil will show how VMware successfully modernized VMware Customer Connect, a mission-critical application customers use to evaluate VMware products and manage their technology lifecycle needs. They’ll demonstrate best practices for building a modern application platform, modernizing legacy applications, and rearchitecting for multi-cloud and containerized applications. They’ll also walk you through the transformation challenges their teams faced and the insights they gained. 

Our second general session, presented the following day, will be given by Blair Doyle, Senior Director, VMware Skyline Product Management. Have you ever heard an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? Join Blair and learn how Skyline Advisor Pro’s proactive insights can save you time, money, and headaches. The service has scaled to support more than 10 of VMware’s most strategic products and has helped customers detect and remediate nearly 200 million potential issues proactively before they had the chance to negatively impact our customer’s VMware environments. Learn what Skyline Advisor is, how it works, and hear about how users of VMware Skyline Advisor Pro are spending less time fighting fires and more time on running their business.

You can also add plenty of exciting, in-depth breakout sessions to your schedule. The Global Support Tech Summit Expert Bar will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. on both days of the event, so you have plenty of time to swing by with your questions.
