More and more organizations are delivering net new and modernized applications across public clouds and at the edge. However, with multi-cloud realities taking hold, many struggle to manage overall cloud spend, resource utilization, and application performance / security / compliance across the various clouds. Organizations typically have siloed, disconnected teams that rely on disparate tools for specific management disciplines and specific clouds that make it difficult to manage processes that span multiple clouds. VMware Aria Hub is a multi-cloud management platform that unifies the management disciplines of cost, performance, configuration, and delivery automation with a common control plane and data model for any cloud, any platform, any tool, and every persona. It helps you align multiple teams and solutions on a common understanding of resources, relationships, historical changes, applications, and accounts, fundamental to managing a multi-cloud environment.

Under the hood, the platform is powered by VMware Aria Graph, a cloud-scale graph-based data store technology that provides a near real-time map of applications and clouds with management insights from your existing VMware Aria solutions (VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth, VMware Aria Operations, and VMware Aria Automation) as well as federated third-party management tools.

Together, VMware Aria Hub powered by VMware Aria Graph and the VMware Aria portfolio makes it possible to approach complex, multi-cloud use cases, such as multi-cloud governance, application migration, and troubleshooting. VMware Aria Hub serves as a foundation for new end-to-end solutions, including VMware Aria Guardrails, VMware Aria Migration, and VMware Aria Business Insights that support such strategic cross-cloud use cases in this new multi-cloud world. VMware Aria Hub powered by VMware Aria Graph provides the technological foundation for an effective Cloud Operating Model.

Announcing Free Tier of VMware Aria Hub powered by VMware Aria Graph

Today at VMware Explore Europe in Barcelona, we’re excited to announce a new free tier of VMware Aria Hub powered by VMware Aria Graph! The new free tier enables you to inventory, map, filter, and search resources from up to two of your native public cloud accounts, currently from either AWS or Microsoft Azure. It also helps you understand the relationships of your resources to other resources, policies, and other key components in your public cloud and Kubernetes environments. You also get access to visibility into CIS benchmark violation data coming from VMware Aria Automation for Secure Clouds and list price costing for resources coming from VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth.
