This week, Forrester Research published the Forrester WaveTM: Cloud Cost Management and Optimization, Q3 2022. If you’re not familiar, The Forrester WaveTM is a guide created to help buyers evaluate a shortlist of vendors in order to make the right purchasing decisions for their business.
Ten vendors were assessed based on responses to a questionnaire, product demo, strategy briefing, and customer feedback. The evaluation included 26 criteria grouped into three categories: Current Offering, Strategy, and Market Presence. It is also worth noting, that all functionality included in this report had to be generally available as of June 6, 2022.
Of the vendors evaluated, we’re excited to share that VMware was named a Leader! Specifically, CloudHealth was the VMware product that was evaluated as part of this report. CloudHealth received the highest scores possible in both the Strategy and Market Presence categories.

Two other vendors were selected as Leaders, three as Strong Performers, three as Contenders, and one as a Challenger. Within the report, Forrester provides a scorecard, strengths, and weaknesses for each vendor.
