Announcing VMware vRealize Network Insight 4.0
Today at VMWorld Barcelona, VMware announced vRealize Network Insight 4.0. vRealize Network Insight 4.0 builds on VMware’s Virtual Cloud Network vision by enabling application security planning and network troubleshooting across multi and hybrid clouds.
In addition to helping customers plan application migration to public clouds and providing them with consistent security and network analytics for their Software-Defined Data Center and Amazon Web Services environments, vRealize Network Insight 4.0 adds hybrid cloud troubleshooting. Users can trace the path between two VMs on-premise, two EC2 instances in AWS, and even the path from a VM on-premise to an EC2 instance in AWS. This powerful path visibility flags any potential networking or security issues in the path and even provides recommendations for fixes.
vRealize Network Insight 4.0 also expands on visibility across the networking overlay and underlay. It provides NSX-T topology visualization and correlated troubleshooting for NSX-T events. Users can also get P-P flow visibility through sflow support in addition to Netflow and visibility into Cisco ACI underlay and Cisco ASA firewall.
