vRealize Suite

Webcast: Hear Firsthand how RIT Uses vRealize Suite

Back in December I published a Cloud Management Success Story about Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and how they automated and managed their virtual environment with vRealize Suite. Back then I shared with you how RIT built a private academic cloud and evolved to an IT-as-a-Service model with a self-service catalog to support cross-disciplinary learning.

By now the RIT team has tested the new solution well enough to be able to talk about it in more details. Chris Butler, Sr. System Administrator at RIT, will tell his story via a webcast on March 7th, 9:30 am PST.

vRealize Suite webcast

In this webcast, you’ll hear how Rochester Institute of Technology used vRealize Suite to create a private cloud with a self-service catalog to support their cross-disciplinary learning. Chris is planning on talking about vRealize Automation, vRealize Business, Log Insight, and vRealize Operations. He will share what RIT has achieved through their new data center project.  Chris will also touch on the VMware Integrated Containers (VIC) functionality, and some of the other exciting technologies used in the project.

The RIT story illustrates how the RIT organization is leveraging vRealize solutions stack to increase their business agility, improve end-user service levels, and optimize the cost and performance of multi-cloud environments.
