We recently announced our Cloud Management Marketplace with over 100 solutions.   As your IT shop deploys automation and management technologies from VMware, it is critical to integrate your technology stack choices:  storage, network and compute.

Our management products vCloud Automation Center, vCenter Orchestrator, vCenter Operations and vCenter Log Insight have frameworks to extend these products to integrate, consume, analyze, display and orchestrate your target technologies.

Watch the video below to learn more from these world class partners (Cisco, VCE, Zend, NetApp, Radware, Brocade, Dell, EMC, F5, Infoblox, Saltstack, HP, Hitachi Data Systems, Puppet Labs and Avnet Services) as we work closely with them to integrate their technology across the VMware Cloud Management product offering.

The graphic below shows the VMware cloud management product portfolio and how we differentiate the core products from the partner solutions.  The blue blocks represent the core products of Automation, Operations and Business Management; the green blocks represent solutions that are developed and released by either VMware, our partners or even community members.

Why is this so important for our partners?   I was talking to Trey Layton, CTO at VCE about the value of integrating across multiple products with VMware and he said: “VMware Automation and Operational management solutions are so pervasive in our customer base that it becomes smart business for VCE to integrate to vCloud Automation, vCenter Operations and Log Insight.  Our customers demand it and VMware’s management story helps them operate Vblocks with the operational efficiency their CIOs and their business demand.”

VMware Cloud Management makes the integration of the core products with these technology partners easy to architect, build, test and support.   This is critical for our customers ease of use and long term cost of ownership.

In future blogs I will discuss some of our other partner integration stories and the value it brings to our joint customers.  Visit the Cloud Management Marketplace to learn more.
