Another day in the books and Day 3 of VMware Explore 2026 in Las Vegas delivered big. Attendees packed their schedules with 47 breakout sessions, 18 Booth Theater sessions, 20 Meet the Expert Roundtables, 17 Quick Talks, and 11 Hands-on Labs Expert-led Workshops. On top of that, the VMware by Broadcom Booth hosted 31 live demos this week, showcasing strategies to operate a modern private cloud that is AI-native—running any workload while keeping data local and secure.

VMware Odyssey Final Tournament
The VMware OdysseyTM Tournament brought serious energy to the Hands-on Labs room today. Finalists went head-to-head in real-world software scenarios, climbing the leaderboard in front of a lively crowd of supporters. Congratulations to the top 8 finalists, who walked away with an Odyssey Yeti water bottle and an exclusive Odyssey Letterman Jacket, a fan favorite since the earliest tournaments. On top of that, the top 3 finalists all earned brand new Lego sets.

Community at the Core
From morning through evening, The Hub once again proved to be the beating heart of VMware Explore. This year’s space brings together exhibitors, program areas, and community activations into one consolidated location.
Explorers let loose in the arcade areas, networked at the Communities Lounge, and tuned in to the Virtually Speaking Live Podcast for ongoing interviews. Many stopped by The Hub Theater for stimulating breakout content and earned points at Broadcom Rewards via the Explorer Expedition Game in the mobile app. Wherever you turned, connections were being made and ideas were cross-polinating throughout The Hub.
