It’s day 3, the last day of sessions, labs, certifications, and networking in the center of the multi-cloud universe. From the heart of the Fira Gran Via, explorers have navigated to new heights this week.
As we round-out this final day of the event, here are a few highlights and special reminders.
Looking Back on Wednesday (Day 2)
We hope you all had a rocking good time during our evening events last night.
- At the VMware Explore hall crawl, explorers roamed The Expo in search of food and drink activations at 8 of our participating sponsor booths while guided by the hall crawl map found in the VMware Explore Mobile App. Thanks to everyone who came out to join in the excitement.
- Simple Minds brought down the house at The Party last night! With hit singles such as “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, the band has been a solid fan favorite with our attendees since their first appearance with us at VMworld 2014 Europe. Attendees danced the night away, while enjoying tasty food and beverages.
Today: Thursday (Day 3)
VMware Odyssey by Hands-on Labs | Final Tournament
The Odyssey final round tournament began at 10:30 CET this morning in Hall 8.0 Foyer. All week long, dozens of apt explorers had competed against other experts to accumulate points for entry to the final tournament. Only 10 finalists were invited to come back for the final round, each one being awarded an exclusive Odyssey Finalist jacket just for getting that far. Grand prize winners earned themselves extensive bragging rights and one of three amazing prizes…

Airport Shuttles
Ready to head out? Catch a ride to the BCN Airport in one of our Airport Shuttles and journey safely friends.
Thursday, 10 November
- Shuttle services will run from 12:00 – 18:00 CET today
- Approximately every 30 minutes
- Arriving: to BCN Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
- Departing: from the Fira Gran Via outside Hall 8.0 on Carrer de l’Alumini
Coat and Bag Drop
Coat and Bag Drop is available until 16:00 CET today in Hall 8.0 Foyer
- Drop off your luggage, bags, or any items you don’t wish to carry with you today at Coat and Bag Drop located in Hall 8.0 Foyer. Please return before 16:00 to pick up your items.
