Salim AbiEzzi

Salim AbiEzzi, Ph.D., is Director of R&D in the Internet of Things group at VMware. In his 33 year career, Salim led a wide variety of technology development projects including at Sun Microsystems and Microsoft. Related to IoT, Salim was the founding chairman of the UPnP consortium in the fall of ‘99, leading it for four years into a successful international organization, today with more than a Billion certified devices.
