Ramu is director of R&D at VMware, where he leads the VMware Blast Extreme Protocol (which is part of VMware Horizon 7 and VMware Horizon Cloud product lines) along with the delivery of hosted desktops and applications to the cloud. His group was instrumental in innovating and developing the Blast Extreme Adaptive Transport from the ground up. Ramu has held different leadership positions over his past 15 years of networking/security and distributed systems/cloud experience. Ramu has a Master degree in Networking from Carnegie Mellon University.
