VMWorld 2015 has now come and gone, but this year’s events were by far the most successful we’ve ever seen. Between San Francisco and Barcelona, over 33,700 people joined us from all over the world. At these two events, we had 42 new product announcements and completed over 12,000 hands-on labs!
One of the biggest product announcements in San Francisco was Horizon 6.2. We seized the opportunity to talk to our Horizon 6 customers and hear what they had to say about how and why they are using our products to support their organizations.
Here is a quick video that highlights three Horizon customers: Kroll OnTrack, BDP International and Southern States.
If you missed VMWorld or happened to miss the announcement, please read this great set of blogs by Matt Coppinger that talk to all of the new features and enhancements in the 6.2 release:
You can even see some really good demos of a few of the key new features in Horizon 6.2, including:
- RDSH enhancements and support for linked clones.
- 3-D and load balancing.
- File type association.
- Expanded support for vSGA and vGPU 3D graphics.
- New access point virtual appliance designed to allow secure remote access to virtual desktops and applications.
