Version 1.6 of the VMware View Client for Linux is now available from HP, 10ZiG and IGEL on VMware Ready-certified thin clients or as software upgrades. Version 1.6 includes a number of bug fixes and usability improvements.
Updates for version 5.2 of the Windows client have also been certified and are available now from HP and 10ZiG, and soon from Dell Wyse.
We continue to encourage View customers who are still using the 4.6 or older versions of View clients to upgrade as soon as possible. Many thin client vendors have committed to making updates available quickly after each release of the View clients. Keeping up with the latest client releases will ensure access to the latest View features, performance improvements and security enhancements.
