Yes, you read that right. Twenty virtual reality headsets. Wow.
Of course, writing to me and asking for one won’t cut it; you have to work a little harder than that.
We recently conducted a TechValidate survey, and it’s evident from the results that people love and would recommend VMware Workstation and VMware Fusion. So, we thought, let’s encourage people to do just that. Then we went shopping.
Here’s the idea. You make a short video—30 seconds to 2.5 minutes—telling your peers what you think of Workstation or Fusion. Perhaps you could mention how they saved your butt that time your data center fried. Or perhaps how you love developing with multiple operating systems just a fingertip away. Maybe, you just like carrying a laptop that’s capable of running any app.
Whatever your story, make it interesting, get our attention, and we just might send you a free Oculus Rift headset. You might also consider tweeting your masterpiece with the hashtag #WorkstationLove or #FusionLove.
The videos don’t have to be of amazing quality, or feature 1,000 friends reenacting a heroic story. They just have to have heart. (We like funny, too.)
