We are excited to announce that VMware has been awarded “Strong Value” positioning on the 2022 Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) Radar Report for Digital Employee Experience Management! The EMA Radar Report identifies the leading digital employee experience (DEX) solution providers and uses an empirical comparison to grade their offered solutions, comparing both overall product strength and their cost-efficiencies. VMware Workspace ONE was recognized for its device and application health monitoring capabilities, engagement and utilization measurement, and automation features.
Digital employee experience has become a top priority for many organizations as they look for solutions to improve the engagement of hybrid and remote teams, expedite and ease onboarding for new employees, and use analytics to optimize their IT and application strategy. To reflect those goals and the processes needed to implement a DEX solution, EMA evaluated vendors on five categories:
- Architecture and integration
- Functionality
- Deployment and administration
- Vendor strength
- Cost advantage
VMware excels in critical functionalities
VMware scored strongly in all evaluation categories, but stood out specifically in deployment and administration, architecture and integration, and vendor strength.
EMA noted the ease with which organizations can stand up VMware Workspace ONE in their environment, as well as configure endpoints automatically and install agents with automated or manual processes. They also highlighted our support and professional services offerings as features that drive the ease of installation and administration of our solution.
Workspace ONE has an architecture that allows on-premises, cloud-hosted, or hybrid deployment, with the full suite of features supported on iOS, Android, Windows 10 and 11, and macOS. EMA also notes Workspace ONE’s robust prebuilt integrations with directory services and identity providers, as well as API access to connect web-based or other consoles to the Workspace ONE instance.
VMware was recognized highly in “vendor strength” due to the breadth of adjacent solutions that can support Workspace ONE Digital Employee Experience. VMware offers an award-winning unified endpoint management (UEM) solution and was the first UEM provider to enter the DEX marketplace. VMware is supported by a strong partner and channel network, allowing customers to get more value through the avenue that makes the most sense.
