We’re excited to announce that VMware has been named a Strong Performer in the first ever report of its kind, The Forrester New Wave™: End User Experience Management, Q4 2020.
Forrester identified and evaluated 11 digital experience management vendors against 10 distinct criteria. For VMware specifically, Forrester evaluated the Digital Employee Experience Management (DEEM) solution in our Workspace ONE Intelligence product, which enables customers to improve employee experience, productivity and engagement.
We believe Forrester recognized VMware as a Strong Performer in this New Wave report because of the depth and strength of our dashboarding and reporting, issue remediation, third party integrations and cloud capabilities; but more importantly for our vision, roadmap and services to support customers. The report specifically calls out that VMware “has a strong understanding of technology experience,” and we received a differentiated score in the roadmap and services supporting customer experience criteria.
Getting smarter about employee experience with DEEM
In light of the recent health emergency, the world of work has changed. As companies adjust to enable more employees to work from anywhere for the long term, they must ensure that employees have a seamless experience in their digital environment and easy access to corporate resources, to keep them engaged and productive. Increasingly, more and more organizations understand that being able to monitor user experience is a must! After all, how do you drive the best employee experience if you can’t even measure the key enablers to it? In fact, in a VMware Customer Advocacy survey, 66% of the organizations indicated that their IT teams are specifically being measured on the employees’ experience and satisfaction.
Workspace ONE Intelligence empowers IT to measure and deliver a seamless, device-agnostic user experience and security across all major mobile and desktop platforms—including Windows 10, macOS, iOS and Android—through deep integration with Workspace ONE UEM, Workspace ONE Access, endpoint security and numerous third-party solutions.
The Digital Employee Experience Management (DEEM) solution in Workspace ONE Intelligence delivers cross platform insights – across device, OS, apps, network and user behavior – in the forms of a consolidated user experience score, trends and dashboards. DEEM continually monitors workspace KPIs impacting employee experience such as device health, boot and shutdown duration, app performance (crashes, hangs, etc.), network performance and so on. It empowers IT to proactively identify these issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and quickly remediate with automation.
Security and EX go hand-in-hand!
Security can greatly impact user experience. You cannot trade one at the expense of the other. And that’s why a core component of our DEEM offering is the ability to view a wholistic “risk score” across the organization. Risk Analytics in Workspace ONE Intelligence calculates a risk score based on user behavior and device context, so that IT has more visibility and can enable risk based conditional access. In addition, integrations with EDR and MTD security partners through Workspace ONE Trust Network enables IT to better understand the impact of a threat in their environment (for example, the number of devices that are impacted, the severity of the impact, etc.), and remediate with automation.
Our customers understand that Workspace ONE Intelligence is an integral part of their digital workspace transformation journey. And as one of them stated in the report, “[Intelligence] it’s a leading piece of our workspace transformation, for our customers and for ourselves.”
We can’t wait for you to try Workspace ONE Intelligence and DEEM for your organization. And I highly encourage you to download the report to learn more about End User Experience Management priorities; and why we believe VMware is uniquely positioned to help you improve employee experience, productivity and engagement with Workspace ONE Intelligence.
