In this episode of the VMware Android Video Series, Tarun and I talk about the latest release of Workspace ONE UEM console, which revolutionizes the admin experience for the game-changing Android management solution known as OEMConfig. OEMConfig combines the app configuration technology of Android Enterprise with the value-added capabilities provided by Android device manufacturers, such as Samsung Knox. Using OEMConfig, an application that is developed and maintained by the OEM, as well as hosted on Google Play, administrators can dynamically configure any setting desired that the OEM offers. The latest release of Workspace ONE UEM console redefines the admin experience for OEMConfig!
• Enhanced admin experience: The application assignment and configuration experience has been fully redesigned in a state-of-the-art user interface. Using hierarchical grouping, coupled with simple navigation and organized, accordion-style menus, configuring applications has never been easier.
• Dynamic, immediate access to new features: With automatic updates to applications, new capabilities are available with zero-day support and without the need for a Workspace ONE UEM console or Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub upgrade.
• Improved flexibility in editing configurations: Admins can also conveniently view and edit existing configurations. When applications are updated with new settings by the app developer, these settings will automatically be available the next time the admin edits the configuration.
