In 2018, we unleashed lots of great innovation and saw headlines that made waves with Workspace ONE, the industry’s first intelligence-driven digital workspace platform. Leading this charge was the release of Workspace ONE Intelligence. We listened to our customers who brought up challenges around lack of visibility – how could they get insights into their employees’ digital workspaces to help improve security and experience? How secure were their employees’ digital workspaces? Were the devices their employees access their apps from verified? Were the devices patched? What was the engagement like for the new apps that IT had just deployed? How many SaaS apps were in their environment that they were licensed for, but didn’t use? Workspace ONE Intelligence was built to help answer those exact questions and more.
Workspace ONE Intelligence delivers integrated insights to help customers get visibility into their digital workspace, enabling data-driven decisions. With app analytics, IT can quickly optimize app development and deployments, including insights into license usage. This helps optimize resources to better serve employees and help organizations reduce costs. And with powerful automation capabilities, Workspace ONE Intelligence helps organizations meet compliance requirements and improve user experience. A great use case that we’re seeing resonate is intelligent and proactive patching of all types of operating systems, including Windows 10, iOS and Android.
Because Workspace ONE Intelligence was built from the ground up as a cloud service, we’re able to continuously push out new features and updates to the service. This includes backend updates, dashboard improvements, new reports capabilities, new automation templates and more. To help our customers keep up with these updates, we introduced our Workspace ONE Intelligence Series, a monthly video series dedicated to sharing the latest release updates and features. In that spirit, we’re excited to cover what you need to know from our December 2018 releases in the video below.
First, we demonstrate the ability to get more detail on sights for security, management and user experience through our dashboards and automation. Next, we highlight new customization options and layouts to dashboards, in particular, “My Dashboard”. This helps make viewing insights that IT is gathering a little easier. We also show new enhancements to reporting in Workspace ONE Intelligence. Bulk actions can now be taken to help ease report sprawl. Finally, we dig into mobile app usage insights. IT can now easily search for a mobile app to get insights into that mobile app’s engagement metrics like daily active users, rolling monthly active user counts and app loads.
The video above is the fourth episode of our Workspace ONE Intelligence Series. If you’re interested in viewing updates to previous months’ releases, you can easily access them by scrolling down to the bottom of our Workspace ONE YouTube playlist.
