VMware Workspace ONE Featured Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management

Mobile World Congress: Leading CSPs Select Workspace ONE as Preferred Unified Endpoint Management Platform

This week VMware End User Computing is at Mobile World Congress where 5G readiness is top of mind for today’s leading communications service providers (CSPs). 5G will drive new opportunities for employee engagement and productivity, making mobile and remote computing increasingly available to more users across more device and applications.

As such, CSPs are offering their business data plan customers the latest unified endpoint management (UEM) and digital workspace solutions that enable their employees to securely access any application on any device, anytime. By enabling users with access to any application—SaaS, native, web, virtual—through a single app catalog with identity integration for single sign-on, CSPs can further maximize revenue from enterprise data usage, software resale, and services opportunities.

VMware partners with many of today’s largest CSPs to offer a range of enterprise solutions, including mobility and workspace management services for customers at all stages of the digital workspace journey. VMware Workspace ONE, for instance, enables management and security of all customer devices – SIM-based devices sold by the operator to business organizations (corporate-owned), employee-owned (BYO) devices, and (non-SIM) endpoints like MacBooks and PCs.

Today at Mobile World Congress, VMware shared details of recently-announced partnerships with Samsung SDS and Deutsche Telekom that will make Workspace ONE available to their customers.

Samsung SDS will now offer Workspace ONE to its enterprise customers, as a VMware global Systems Integrator and Systems Outsourcer (SISO) partner, to provide them with a single platform for unified endpoint management, enhanced digital workspace security and improved end user productivity and experience. In addition, VMware and Samsung SDS announced future collaboration in vertical markets – government, public sector, finance, healthcare and retail – and emerging technology categories – blockchain, IoT and 5G. Deutsche Telekom, through its subsidiary T-Systems, is now offering a new service to large national and international corporate customers – Unified Endpoint Management by Workspace ONE – that is based on the Workspace ONE platform. Read the full press release from Deutsche Telekom here.

It’s an exciting time for CSPs as they chart their course to 5G readiness and we will continue to partner with them to develop solutions that allow for expanded opportunities with SMB and Enterprise customers alike.
