Behind the scenes, Workspace ONE empowers IT with the platform it requires to easily manage the full app lifecycle from sourcing, building and securing apps, delivering the right apps to the right employees via the Workspace ONE app catalog, managing those applications from a single IT console, supporting apps with reporting and analytics and ultimately retiring apps from devices if the app is no longer needed or an employee leaves the company.
As part of our mobile app management offering, we’ve built a suite of horizontal productivity apps that are accessible through the Workspace ONE catalog. Each of the Workspace ONE productivity apps are built with our proprietary SDK, enabling users with full access to the application without any level of management on the device.
These consumer-simple, enterprise-secure mobile apps include: VMware Boxer for secure email, calendar and contacts; VMware Browser for seamless intranet access; VMware Content Locker for secure content delivery and access across content repositories; and VMware People Search for directory search and management hierarchies.

And for the employees themselves, features like Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub help IT provide employees with a simple interface for accessing applications and IT services in a consistent manner and across all their devices.
Over the past year, VMware has continued to deliver on new solutions that differentiate Workspace ONE UEM as the industry’s digital workspace platform of choice from both an IT and employee perspective.
