This past week, VMware announced the General Availability of Horizon 7.4.1, which adds support for the recently announced Workspace ONE Enterprise subscription offer (see the “Win32 App Delivery” section of the announcement blog). The Workspace ONE Enterprise subscription offer allows customers the ability to license per user or device. Now, customers have the ability to consume Horizon 7 through a subscription offer as part of the Workspace ONE digital workspace, instead of just through a perpetual license.
Workspace ONE Enterprise combines the Workspace ONE platform, the recently launched Workspace ONE Intelligence, Horizon 7 and cloud-based VMware Identity Manager to deliver an integrated digital workspace platform. With this new offering, customers can easily realize the benefits of the digital workspace and choose from various editions of Workspace ONE Enterprise to securely deliver their desktops and applications.
