Here’s Your Fast Last-Minute Checklist for VMworld 2016

We’re just a week from the kickoff of the leading global conference for enabling the digital enterprise, VMworld 2016, in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, Aug. 28–Sept. 1.

The countdown is on! Here’s your last-minute checklist to ensure this year’s VMworld event is the best yet.

Step 1. Register

You still have time to register! VMworld offers everything you need to accelerate your end-user computing (EUC) strategy—keynotes from industry leaders, networking, one-on-one time with the experts, hands-on labs and more.

If you just can’t make it to the entire conference, you can now register for day and expo-only passes, as well. OK, so you won’t get to the massive VMworld Party or every breakout session, but you can at least snag a spot at the EUC Spotlight Session or experience virtual reality in the VMvillage.

Step 2. Build Your VMworld Schedule

Nailing down your personal agenda is crucial to a great VMworld experience, considering there are more than 400 unique sessions to choose from. Here’s a few tips to get started:

  • Register ASAP for the EUC Super Session. Seats are going fast, and you won’t want to miss the huge news. Click here to add to your schedule.
  • Browse the most popular sessions on hot topics here. Quickly navigate to trending sessions on networking, compute virtualization, DevOps and storage. Each session listed links to the catalog where you can pre-register or mark favorites.
  • Check which sessions were just added here. If a session you wanted to sign up for was already full, you may be able to find a second session here, or you’ll find some sessions may have been moved to another location to open up more seats.
  • See the top breakout sessions here. If you’re going back and forth between two sessions at the same time, keep in mind that some of the most popular sessions will be available to watch online.

Step 3. Download the VMworld Mobile App

You’re going to want this handy mobile app—you’ll be able to view everything you put on your schedule from whatever device you have on hand.

Available for iOS and Android, the VMworld 2016 U.S. mobile app also provides ways for you to connect and network with other attendees and notifies you of what’s happening around the conference each day. You can also check in faster with the app and navigate the Solutions Exchange—the expo featuring more than 220 companies—with an interactive, searchable map.
