VMware has just updated its paper on Microsoft Lync in a View environment. Microsoft Lync 2013 on View in VMware Horizon 6 includes compatibility and installation instructions for this solution, including supported configurations for Horizon 6 and Horizon 6.2. With Horizon 6.2, Lync can be used for VoIP calls and videoconferencing on Windows 10 virtual desktops and on RDSH desktops hosted on Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 RDSH servers.
This incremental update is brief and straightforward. Anyone who needs to implement the Lync 2013 client on View desktops will find it useful.
