VMworld 2021

VMworld 2021 Day 2 Highlights: Imagine That

Friends and colleagues, we closed out Day 2 of VMworld 2021 and we covered a lot of ground. On-demand sessions? Check. Breakout sessions and hands-on labs? Check. Diverse perspectives from some very important guests? Check! Read on for the recap.

Voices of VMworld: Will Smith, Dr. Moogega Cooper, Robin Arzón and More

Actor, producer, musician, two-time Academy Award nominee, Grammy Award and NAACP award winner Will Smith joined VMware President Sumit Dhawan to discuss the foundation of success. “People have a misperception you succeed your way to the top. No, you fail your way to the top.” said Will. We quite agree. Will revealed a rare look at his career success and failures and gave us a sneak peek into his upcoming book being released later this year.

Dr. Moogega Cooper, trailblazing engineer of the famed Mars Rover ‘Perseverance’ Mission for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, gave an out-of-this-world talk about the future of space travel leaving us inspired. Sign us up for the next mission to Mars. 🚀

And, Peloton’s Robin Arzón, the New York Times best-selling author of Shut Up And Run, gave a heartening story about how she recovered from trauma through movement. We’ll see you on the track, yoga mat, or whatever your preferred method for movement is. Don’t forget, do epic “stuff”!

Sessions are Available On-Demand

The premier multi-cloud event is available on-demand in the VMworld platform until October 14th.
