VMworld 2020 Day 2 Recap: The Challenges Facing Our Time

Day 2 was off to an exciting start, coming from the VMworld concert where John Legend played a song exclusively for our attendees. (Raise your hand if you appreciate his musical talent even more after yesterday’s show!) An impressive turn out today, here’s what you saw, heard, and accomplished:

Fireside Chat: The Extraordinary Events of 2020

We started out with an inspiring conversation with Pat Gelsinger, CEO of VMware, and NYC Business News Anchor, Hope King. The two dived into broad issues such as the pandemic and social justice as well as their thoughts about the cloud industry, and VMware’s commitment to be a force for good. If you missed this inspiring discussion, there are a few more opportunities to catch it on the Vision & Innovation channel before it goes on-demand.

Seven Programming Tracks for Your Specific Industry

After the fireside chat, VMworld attendees split off into the different programming tracks available across key solutions areas: vision and innovation, app modernization, digital workspace, intrinsic security, virtual cloud network, multi-cloud, and telco 5G. Our learning tracks are designed to address the unique questions, problems, and challenges attendees face in their specific business situations and industries. If you missed any of the tracks, we encourage you to continue to interact and catch the sessions that are available on-demand.
