Day 3 of VMworld 2019 US brought it home with tons of amazing events, activities, and learning sessions. The VMware code sessions were packed, and the Certification Exam Center brought plenty of people ready to get certified or recertified. In fact, to date:
- 170 exams were completed
- 61 exams were on deck for Thursday
Of course, VMworld isn’t VMworld without some mid-week fun. Were you there to spot the drum line? We hope you got a chance to get in on the treasure hunt – the first 100 people who found and scanned the QR code of a turtle sticker located somewhere in Moscone South and Moscone North got a free pair of VMware turtles socks! The digital graffiti wall drew in plenty of people ready to make their mark. And, the alumni lounge was a hit, providing space for our attendees to take a breather.
What better way to end a long day of sessions and labs than by rocking out at VMworld Fest? Special guests DJ Umami, Billy Idol, and One Republic were in the house at the renowned Billy Graham Civic Auditorium to help us finish out Wednesday night.
For some of you, the party continued well into the night – but if you need some coffee in the morning, we’ve got you covered. Speaking of coffee, over the week we’ve composted:
- 110,000 coffee cups
- 80,000 coffee lids
- 120,000 beverage napkins
- 100,000 coffee stirrers
Wednesday night may be over, but there’s still plenty of souvenirs and swag to pick up before you head home. Visit the Hands-On Labs to try out the products you didn’t get a chance to earlier this week. Our Certification Exam Center will be open for those of you who’d like to sneak in a last minute exam. And, of course, all our replays are available on-demand in the livestream library. Feeling nostalgic already? Share your photos to #VMworld on social to keep participating in the VMworld community.
