The vExpert 2012 applications are open, and I am glad to say that we are getting a steady stream of applications in. Hundreds of people who are helping others be successful with VMware technology are applying, with contributions ranging from blogs to books, from speaking gigs to slides, and from tutorials to free tools.
This year is a little different from the past, because we are also inviting contributors who may have been sharing their knowledge and expertise away from the public limelight, namely our customers and partners, as well as VMware employees, to apply as well. If you have been following the announcements, you already know that the two new paths to become a vExpert still lead to the single title, and once qualified and selected by the judges, all vExperts are entitled to full participation in all of the exclusive offerings of the program.
I am sure many of you have a colleague or two who would make a great vExpert, but who may not have qualified last year due to the requirement that all contributions be public. This year, let your brilliant colleagues know you value them, and invite them to apply and be recognized for all the great work they do helping their customers or internal organizations succeed with VMware.
