vExpert 2023 Second Half Award Announcement

Thank you to all the applicants, and a special thanks to the vExpert PROs for diligently managing the voting process! Please note that email is the official method to determine if you have received the vExpert award.

The Results for the 2023 vExpert Second Half Are In: 105 vExperts Welcomed Into the Program from 32 Different Countries!

All of the new and returning vExperts have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their stories & expertise with others. Contributing is not always Blogging or Tweeting as there are many VMUG leaders, Public Speakers, Book Authors, Script Writers, VCDX, VMTN Community Moderators, Internal Champions and more among this group.

If you were awarded vExpert, you should now have the acceptance email in your inbox which will explain next steps. Please hold tight and expect another email from us soon.

If you weren’t awarded, we understand that this decision can be disappointing. However, we are here to support your efforts and want to help you improve your efforts and you next application. We have built the appeal process to help you build your case. If you want to dive into what to include and exclude in your appeal, read the vExpert Best Practice Guide.

The vExpert Best Practice Guide provides valuable information on appeals, how to apply, what criteria we are looking for, what to avoid including in your application, and explains the significance of the new “Pending” status.

Take this as an opportunity to enhance your involvement with the community and engage more actively. You can also seek assistance from a vExpert PRO in your region, who can guide you through the application process for the next opportunity in December for the 2024 program.

Remember, persistence and continuous improvement can make a difference, and we hope to see your application again.

Thank You,

Corey Romero, the vExpert PROs as well as the VMware Communities Team
