You heard it here first! vSphere, vCenter and vSAN Version 8 products are now available as TAP NFR and EVAL licenses through the Technology Partner Hub Portal for active and current Technology Alliance Partners.
If previous license versions are required, please note that when a new version of a product is released, older versions are no longer available for ordering as an NFR through the TPH portal. However, if a previous version of NFR is required, you can always downgrade it to previous versions via your Customer Connect Portal. How to Downgrade license versions in Customer Connect
TAP Strategic Tier Partners do have the option to request previous versions, but only as Evaluation licenses (not NFR).
Please keep in mind that The Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program exclusively supports VMware application, infrastructure, and hardware partners, enabling them to integrate their products and solutions with VMware offerings to create joint solutions, with the only intention to sell that final product to joint customers in the market.
