GenAI Tile available to all Tanzu Platform (and Tanzu Application Service) customers
Tanzu Platform (and Tanzu Application Service) customers are now entitled to use the GenAI service as part of their existing license.
The GenAI tiles empowers businesses to create intelligent apps—applications that utilize AI models as one of the underlying services. Tanzu AI Solutions in Tanzu Platform offers both an AI-ready dev framework and a platform to accelerate AI app delivery
Key highlights of GenAI tile on Tanzu Platform include:
- Faster AI App Development – Deliver AI apps more quickly and without having to reskill with Spring AI for Java developers
- Safer AI App Delivery – Enable safer model usage by curating and controlling access to approved models

Tanzu Entitlement Requirements for Support Portal Download – To support the transition from Tanzu Network to Broadcom’s Customer Support Portal, product downloads were initially configured as accessible to all users. Starting March 3rd 2025, downloads will be only accessible to entitled users. After this date, users will only be able to view products they are entitled to download in the `My Downloads` section of Support Portal. Free products will be accessible via a hyperlink at the top of that page. Non-entitled products will not display in `My Downloads` and users will see a `Not Entitled` response via Tanzu Network API when attempting to generate a download link.

During a TKGI cluster upgrade the worker node hangs indefinitely – During the ‘Running errand Upgrade all clusters errand for TKGI’ execution step of the TKGI upgrade process (all versions) the verbose output in Ops Manager shows the following for a long time (hours) with no progress.
