It’s that time of year again! From February 24-27, we’ll be at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona for Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014. This event has been, and will be, particularly meaningful to us given our roots in mobile.
One interesting observation is how big data is making its way into Mobile World Congress. There’s a Day 2 session on Feb 25 entitled, “Media without Borders: Driving Rapid Innovation with Mobile, Social, Cloud & Big Data,” that will feature experts from CNN, Quixey, and Electronic Arts. Big data and platforms are emerging as major supporting technologies for mobile and web solutions.
Our guess is that we’ll see these technologies have an even greater presence during future conferences. Attending from Pivotal Labs are:
