We have extended the upgrade period for current VCAP4-DCAs (VMware Certified Advanced Professional 4 – Datacenter Administration) to become VCAP5-DCA with just one exam.
If you are a current VCAP4-DCA and you pass the VCAP5-DCA exam by October 15 you will be upgraded to VCAP5-DCA certification and will also inherit the VCP5-DV certification. After October 15, you’ll need to have your VCP5-DV certification first. All the details on the new program are online here.
