Back in October 2014, we announced that a VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) Advisory Council was being formed with initial members. It’s coming time to rotate out the current members with new members for the second half of 2015. The panel is made up of three internal VMware employee VCDX’s and three external VCDX’s. To make the process simple we have created an online survey for current VCDX’s to fill out. The current council will then review and vote on their replacements, along with Karl Childs and myself. The following dates will be how we manage the change over process.
- May 26: Survey Posted
- June 15: Survey Closed
- June 16-23: Council review/voting
- June 30: First call with new members and departing members
The basic terms of the council are that you must be willing to commit to the following:
- Have been a VCDX for at least a year.
- Publicly support any decisions and communications made by the council.
- Attend all council meetings (we understand some conflicts will occur.) The calls are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 11am EST.
