Effective March 2, 2015 the following certification exams will be retired and no new registrations accepted:
- VCID510 – VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 – Cloud Infrastructure Design
- VCIA510 – VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 – Cloud Infrastructure Administration
- VDTA510 – VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 – Desktop Administration
- VDTD510 – VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 – Desktop Design
As you are aware these exams are based upon older content and by retiring them it allows us and our candidates to focus resources on the upcoming exams and certifications that were announced earlier this month. Sign up here to receive notification when these new certifications and exams are available.
If you have an exam date already scheduled prior to March 14 for one of these exams, you will be able to complete it as scheduled. If your appointment falls after March 14 you may reschedule it prior to the 14th, if a spot is available. Otherwise, you may contact PearsonVue to receive a refund and can take the new exams when they are released.
